Ah… How nice that the Wiki establishes that it’s the man who holds the onus of proposing. Not only that, they also hunt and spend on the perfect ring, plan their proposal and make sure that the secret doesn’t get out until the right time. It’s most commendable men put in so much effort just to hear their partner say “Yes!”
