Glimpse of the camp

A getaway for working adults’… finally something after the transition from youth to adulthood. In as much as we’re at a level where reasoning has been set in place and the finding of ourselves is no longer a roller coaster ride instead it’s a discovery of new sprouts from time to time, I do believe that it’s a break or make season. The working world is a new milieu all together. It’s will either drive you to one extreme or the other (this may sound exaggerated but think about it on the long run).

No one makes it through life alone and we need people around us regardless of how far we’ve moved on. It is our responsibility to be running this race while spurring others along. This was yet another evident occasion of acknowledging this fact. We come from different facets, the analytical, the meticulous, the listeners, the chatters…. There are those who’s got a bulk of baggage dragged and lugged over the years, some come with numerous experiences of victories of old, while others are in the midst of their own ‘episodes’. Whether it was age, or job title or personality that distinguished us, one thing I’ve yet again been reminded that it’s the spirit that connects people. This phrase keeps popping up and its too evident to ignore it. Truly at different levels we’re at, we connect differently with people. And it’s the people that we’re connected with that’ll make the journey rewarding, abundant and refreshing or otherwise. So what’s the connecting factor – it’s His spirit in us that relates to His spirit in the other.

To say the least, even words can’t fully express, the worship was thick and tangible. It was past the outer courts into the Holy place. Yet having say that, it’s not the AWESOME experience that will keep us going but it’s the closed door sessions one-on-one with the Father that’ll determine how far we go, how high we soar, how much we reflect Him. It is an individual and a corporate responsibility... to keep worship the way it was created for (in spirit and in truth), to keep the Word as our benchmark and ever Living word to guide our every step, to keep prayer as the essence our lifestyle and to keep our hunger and thirst for Him as our perpetual pursuit.

There’s much more to this than that… greater things ahead… the race has just begun and everyday is a new experience. There’s no limit to where what God has in stored, no boundary to the extent of our pursuit, and surely no end to relationship with Him. Only to be prepared for what’s to come and to be faithful in this journey until the very very very very end...

For since the beginning of the world,
Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear,
Nor has the eye seen any God besides You,
Who acts for the one who waits for Him. (Isaiah 64:4)
