Little pleasure of life… makes it all worthwhile. If there was a beach nearby, I’d head there for a sandy picnic or a barbie, if I at the meadows, I’d do a pre-dawn walk along the meadows and set out the picnic blanket just in time to see the sunrise, if I was on the mountain top, I’d stay covered in my blanket at the front porch whilst enjoying the sun rays and my cuppa… and if I were near the seas, I’d set my boat on sail, slap on sun screen and my sunnies and enjoy the cool of morning sea breeze. But here I am in the suburbs of Petaling Jaya and the closest to my wishful thinking is Taman Rimba Kiara.
The morning was beautiful to start with, we set out the picnic blanket but not on the green patch, instead on the park table. Spread out the picnic blanket (now table cloth) and then we whipped out our barang barang; Vitagen, orange juice, digestive biscuits, hot cross buns, kaya, jam and finally my thermos of neslo (how can I go a day without my shot!?)
The cool of morning gust, the quite orchestra of chirping birds and the neatly design landscapes of the park with great company to spend it with… I believe that whatever time we have, we should make the most of it. Even if our busy schedules wring the last ounce of energy of us, even though the work load seems to be piling up by the second… Really life is too short to be caught up in the thicket of worries, it won’t take a lot to take an hour or two away from our structured structure (I guess some people would disagree with me, given that commitments demand their time or some might even say, you’re too young, wait till you grow older, then you’d know). I want to look back 10 years down the road and still be saying this; life is too short to waste away on things not eternal. And one of them be -pleasures are NEVER to be experienced and kept to ourselves. Got something share it, the joy and the supposed excitement and expected outcome of things will multiply supernaturally. After all our lives, for the many things and one is for the reflection of God to shine through.
