Like how Bacon + Lettuce + Tomato makes the best sandwiches (BLT)
Like how a burst of aroma comes when Garlic & Ginger & Onions are blended together
Like how Chilli Sauce on your french fries seems to satisfy the cravings (tomato sauce in my opinion!)
Like how the Icing on the cake makes it a lot more like a Cake
Like how yau char kway in your Bah Kut Teh - so squashy and crunchy makes the best deals
Like how tomato chutney on your rava thosai always make your taste buds longing for more
Finally like how a hot cuppa Milo + melted Cadbury Choc + Mini Marshmallows on a rainy Thursday night seems to make me wanna curl up in bed and dream the night away!
The pregnant clouds finally gave way for a splash of prolonged downpour. It was a siblings night of yum char but going out was too much of a hassle and besides nothing feels more like home - than HOME.
If I was in Aussie I'd head straight for a Swissmiss Hot Choc sachet, but I'm back in homeland now and it's way too expensive for a passing thrill, thought of an alternative. Malt!
Malt malt malt, that's what we've been having since i remembered my first drink milk. Malt malt, malt, was our family favourite. Malt, malt, malt brought back lots of memories of childhoood days.
A little experiment to spice up the normal malt drink. Hmmmm, melted choc! (was thinking of a dash of vanilla essence and bring it to a boil) but too much work and the night flying away too quickly. Grabbed the bar of Cadbury, heated a pot of Milo - stir stir stir. Ready to serve! "Rachel and Koko, come get your Hot choc!" The rest of the night was history. Chat away, a little sibling squabble here and there, a lil sibling quirkiness, dabbing marshmallows, melting them, squashing them, eating them...
I really think that cafes should start serving their hot choc's with mallows! Well i think cappucino and mocha deserves mallows too. Ah well... in the next round of homey yum char sessions.
If you know of any cafes that serve delightable, mouthwatering cuppa's (i don't mind recommendations)
