Wedding bliss!

Having been bridesmaid previously, now wedding coordinator – this wedding was oodles of fun! It was a breeze, yet at the same time there were so many things that needed meticulous attention. Since LY put so much attention to details, from the specific church to the right coloured program sheets, everyone knew their exact role on the day of the wedding.

St. Andrews church was the perfect place to have a wedding like that! Stained glass windows, archlike entrance, majestic doors that open up to the sanctuary, airy hallways, windpipes and an ancient organ, thick wooden pews and charming Christmas deco to top it off!

Gracing in smoothly in a vintage jaguar, LY filled the church with ‘oohs’ and ‘aahhhhs’. She exemplified the modern day Audrey Hepburn, beaming in her white gown. Personally I was just about overwhelmed by the moment she walked down that aisle as everything went calm. Whilst a few seconds just before it, I was alarmed that Uncle Chew casually walked back to his seat after I told him that LY had arrived! I guess pure happiness can make you a bit disoriented.

There were definite parts of the day that kept me musing:

  • When LY walked the red carpet
  • When LY hugged her dad
  • When Chin Thye tear-ed looking at his bride approaching
  • When all eyes were on them - ‘You may kiss the bride’
  • When LY and CT sat in their white 4 wheeled chariot looking elated
  • When they reticently decided to dance on stage
  • When all the guests had as much fun as the just married couple!
