Everything is sand except the Word

A challenge and lifestyle to live by until the day I see Him face to face…

You will find sand everywhere, not only on silky beaches or desert land. There is sand literally everywhere! Same thing goes with teachings, sermons, tapes, CD’s, books, literature, articles etc… Every corner I turn, I hear about one talking about the most inspirational Christian book, or the best sounding CD or new release. Although merchandise like these are not wrong, but one thing will remain - the WORD.

Who's Word? His Word! Not words from the New York best sellers or anointed preachers, not devotionals or articles you stumble upon on the internet. Not even the profound advice from Godly mentors or words of wisdom from pastors or teachers. Every other thing is sand - except the Living Word of God!

Know the Book, live it daily, believe it, and obey it. Soaked and be filled with the Word of God, that we will be living epistle, known and read of all men. Why read the words of men when God readily wants to speak to us through His word? Why sell short our right and privilege to listen from Him? Remember in the Old Testament, God whose prophets to reveal Himself and then those prophets would convey the message to the crowds and nations. But now we have the liberty to be firsthand recipients of the message of Life.

If we build upon anything else but the Word of God, either on imagination, perceptions, sentimentality, feelings, assumptions and all carnality – it will mean nothing for the foundation is void without solid brick… remember - everything else is sand!
