Dinner on the house

Consider it another pleasant surprise or a treat, i'll call it a blessing! Met up with Ms. BUSIER THAN A BEE - Mui Yoon last night and she suggested dinner at Strawberry Fields in the state. Little did i know that she had written a review for the restaurant 3 years ago. And cruising into the restaurant we saw an enlarged version of her article nicely framed up on the wall. And as kiasu as i can get, i asked her grace the boss with her presence with the pretense of a a friendlt catch up. She immediately said that the boss wouldn't recognize her,then i suggested that she flash her ID card in front of him as a proof she's the real CHIN MUI YOON. Hmmm desperate times call for desperate interventions!

*Phew* The thought of that would be so embarassing. Thankfully we didn't need to go through any of that, the boss came jovially and greeted us. Then at the instance of he remembered MY, he said "Dinner's on me!" Err lobsters anyone? Or caviar? or Sharkfins soup? Think no further than the menu! We got a decent meal with a pleasant atmosphere and wonderful entertainment from Ms. MY! :) (chatter chatter chatter going 80 m/hr)

I had an absolutely interesting night! We had an encounter back in her place with her new Golden Retriver. A beauty but still finding her footing in her new house (The doggie will soon recognize where and where not to pee... definitely not in your owner's guest slippers!) *what a clown*

Back home lying in bed reflectin on the day while waiting for my hair to dry... I really am grateful having found a friend like MY. She's a storehouse full of stories and her passion for writing is really one-of -a-kind. Time to embark again...
