Fresh ...

You can’t improve what you can’t measure and you can’t measure anything without a standard. What is your standard? The only standard that remains for me is the Word of God. Not what people say or what people think. Not what goes around in the ‘hyped’ up world or the sensations of the seasons. But it’s simply God and His spoken TRUTH. Matt 5:18 “For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.” Wow that’s one awesome revelation. People change all the time, circumstances are unforeseen, the future ahead is like a road less traveled, the world is changing – we cannot deny that. Yet we are called to change from glory to glory, strength to strength. What does that mean? Becoming Christ like daily, it should be a challenge and a desire. And the only way we can do it is by the Word and intimacy with Him.
I don’t want to be stuck on the plains (tho it’s comfortable and vast). Many people are there… it’s a vast vast place. We feel like the majority…But the Mountain Top is awaiting us! The standard has been raised for the longest time. Are we aware of it? Or are we cruising along, oblivious, ignorant and indifferent?
Today is supposed to be better than yesterday, and tomorrow better than today. There’s no turning back, the cross before me, the past behind me. Yesterday’s glory is stale already, fresh glory. Yesterday’s manna is meant for yesterday. And yesterday’s anointing can only thus far, we need fresh anointing for fresh exploits.
